Ambassador Eric Goosby, MD, U.S. President’s Emergency Plan For AIDS Relief, Washington, DC.

Ambassador Goosby gives a brief history of President Bush’s PEPFAR program from an initial 14 countries to now 80 countries in the current presidential administration, including treatment, facilities/infrastructure, care and education. He covers the way in which the program moves from emergency to sustainability of core services through greater collaboration with countries' ministries of health, civil societies, public sector clinics/hospitals, faith-based organizations, other organizations and community.
